Max and K. Emeline at the Jumping Turtle, San Marcos

Well, K. Emeline the super-talented soul singer/model lined us up a gig at The Jumping Turtle in San Marcos! I didn't know what to expect, because the place has a reputation as a rough bar that specializes in Hip-Hop Rap music! But K went out there and FLATTENED the place. Everybody went dead silent as she knocked out soul classic after soul classic. Then we had more applause than I've ever got in my life.

K was amazing - she's already popular in Samoa and New Zealand. 
I had a BLAST.

I cranked up my guitar pickups and played at about 65 decibels,
